Where to meet us

We shall pick you up at your lesson start time at the floating jetty at Naval Point Yacht Club

What if I am late? Will I miss the boat!
Just phone me on 021 2397231 and let me know. We can usually hold the yacht there for up to 20 mins while we do safety briefings and log book entries with the other students

What if I miss a lesson.

As long as you give us 24 hours notice then  we shall try & get your missing lesson on the next course. If you fail to contact us then you may forfeit your session

Where shall we sail?

We tend to sail up the harbour and stop for lunch at Diamond Harbour. Friends can view the yacht from the Lyttelton to Sumner road

What if the weather is poor?

I shall contact each of you the day before or the morning of sailing. We try and sail in all conditions to give experience but we wont sail if strong winds are predicted, (anything above 25-28 knots) Beauford Scale 7-8  Moderate gale and above

Do I bring a life jacket?
Not needed. We have new certified & tested inflating life jackets. They are comfortable to wear and not bulky.
