The advanced sailing course is designed for students following on from the basic sailing course or those who may have their own trailer yacht or keelboat. The course is similar in format to the basic sailing course: 16 hours over 4 weekends. It is designed to build confidence in the skipper (you!) to operate the yacht in all harbour conditions. We encourage teamwork and leadership with your crew. The course syllabus provides many practical exercises to increase your skills; not just sail from A to B but to know how to apply all the additional equipment a keel yacht has compared to a dinghy or small trailer sailor.
